Do they think you should read it? Absolutely. Community banks don’t necessarily have to compete with Bank of America or the new BB&T-Suntrust megabank on proprietary technology—they can’t. But community banks do have to work with their core providers, web developers, and third-party vendors to offer customers an ever-increasing baseline technology experience.
